In part two of their a series of videos, adidas-sponsored climber Shauna Coxsey deals with warming-up properly before getting started on the bouldering wall.
Apparently there is some method to getting up and going on the bouldering wall, as anyone who has gone hell-for-leather right out of the blocks only to have to finish early with that horrible wrist cramp can attest.
In the video Shauna sticks to this plan;
- Simple moves on the wall to get the blood flowing.
- Plenty of stretching.
- Increasing the difficulty of the moves.
- Working on actual bouldering problems when fully warm.
